When you glue down the headliner, do you not leave some extra fabric to wrap under the spots where the pillars will be? It looks like you trimmed those areas right to the edge of the headliner. Whereas you seemed to have left about an 1” of extra fabric to wrap and glue around the other parts of the headliner edges. Thanks for the response and for the instructions.

Recovering a visor on a LeSabre looks 10 times as difficult as doing the whole headliner! Very concise and informative video for such a tedious job. The one thing you might mention is to keep one's hands clean (wash them often), to prevent fingerprints on the new material. I realize that you didn't have time to do this Marcus; one 37 minute "take" without any pauses - amazing job!

Dear Headliner Magic, I am not a pro in this, but I would not cut to edge along holes and edges. I would cut so that you can fold around the edges and the headliner sticks better in the future for a longer time. Anyway, that's just me. I do have a question: I have removed the old headliner completely, taken off the old material and cleaned the styropor roof for old foam. But it is super sticky. Should I try to clean this or not? And if I should clean it, what to use, to prevent the styropor from melting? Kind regards, Redfox.

Well, the headliner was drastically creased and bent at the left rear corner. That crease in the backing is going to show through the new headliner.

8mm socket is not correct bolt for the front light and sunglasses holder for my 06 accord. I’m stuck at at those last two bolts not knowing which socket will fit
